We’re going to take a bit of a different approach from the typical FAQ strategy because many times the best answer is “That Depends”:

“What is the Best Type of Fence for My Property?”

• This is the one we hear the most. People want to know the benefits and drawbacks for all the various styles, materials, configurations and installations available. Frankly, the best answer is “That Depends”. We usually respond to this one with a whole list of questions of our own! What are you wanting to accomplish? How important are the aesthetics of the fence? How high will it need to be? Will it be in a High Wind Area or any other Environmental Issues to consider? Are there any restrictions or covenants that govern fencing? – we can help with all of these questions and in fact have learned that the more questions we ask, the better the result!

“Will I Need a Permit or Are There Any Other Governmental Issues That Need to be Considered?”

• Yes, most cities require a permit. Most reputable commercial fencing companies will take the responsibility for obtaining the permit if it is required. We are also very knowledgeable about other governmental issues and will be sure that your fence complies with all regulations.

“Are you Licensed, Bonded, Insured?”

• Yes, Beitzell Fencing is insured, bonded and licensed for both residential and commercial projects.

“What Other Issues Do We Need to Consider?”

• We like this one because it allows us to demonstrate our experience in the industry! We will again ask a lot of questions about things like materials, weather, environment, property lines, zoning, timing (if a new building, when should the fence go in?), other contractors involved, painting, staining, post setting, etc.
